Fiat, a brand which has always had a focus on new technologies, is one of the first on Google+ and to use the Hangout function for video conferencing online with other users.
Google, one the world's most important search engines, has recently set off an advanced project (called Google+), the objective of which is to convey the subtleties and richness of real-life interaction, allowing to share thoughts, opinions, films and images on the web and to chat with friends worldwide as well as see them on your computer or tablet using your webcam to share common experiences looking at each other in the face, even in large groups.
Google+ was created to make sharing more similar to real life and this principle is reflected on its pages. After all, behind every page (or car, or activity) there are people who are passionate about what they do and with whom interacting is certainly an interesting and enriching experience.
A brand which has always been focused on new technology like Fiat immediately grasped this opportunity (innovative and user-friendly, in the purest spirit of the brand) to come into contact with customers and fans. Already today (the second day of operation of Hangout), Panda Style Manager Roberto Giolito will be linking up with eight Dutch fans on the Fiat page to share the experience of the creation of new car with them. During the videoconference online they will talk about how the Panda was created, and they will discuss the project, the design and the main features of the model.
For Fiat, Google+ is a way to come into contact with customers and fans, who in addition to being the testimonials of the brand can "really" speak - directly and face-to-face - with those who are designing, building and marketing the cars. Finally, the Circles functions (lists of friends, family members and acquaintances) can be used to create long-lasting relationships with interesting people, in addition to pages.
