After a remarkable spurt last month in number of visitors at the "Our Future Mobility Now" website (www.futuremobilitynow.com), the eco:Drive Virtual Challenge concluded with the recent proclamation of the winner.
April in the Our Future Mobility Now project was devoted to sustainable mobility. Actions were coordinated directly by Fiat Group Automobiles, with Fiat actively involved in managing initiatives and in the communication of the project targets on the brand's social network channels. Visitors to the www.futuremobilitynow.com peaked, to the extent that 25 percent of all the yearly accesses were counted during the month of April. The number of contacts on the Facebook.com/fumono page was equally high (with "likers" up by 32 percent), thus confirming the strong "social & web" inclinations of Fiat Group Automobiles.
Many initiatives were organised by Fiat on the website: two online live streaming video events with Fiat professional, video-interviews to young professionals of the Group on the theme of sustainable mobility and, last but not least, the exciting virtual eco:Drive Virtual Challenge. The Our Future Mobility Now website online game spurred users (from no less than 27 countries across Europe) taught tricks and tips for careful driving aimed at cutting fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The Best eco:Driver with the highest total score was Angelo Actis. He won the much coveted title and the prize of a weekend for two in Turin with a Fiat 500 available for the entire stay.
