A German user wins the Fiat 500 America with the TwitBid!

It's Adelheid D. Kieper (who uses the twitter nickname of @KanzleiKieper) the winner of the TwitBid dedicated to the Fiat 500 America. With an offer of 15.165 euros, she won the TwitBid and will be awarded with the "number one" car of the exclusive limited edition run.

@KanzleiKieper is German and in her real life lives in Rosche, about 70 miles from Hamburg. She got the opportunity to buy the car after the users with the two highest offers renounced to purchase it.

The car has been assigned today during a short ceremony held in Turin, in Fiat Group Automobiles' buildings. The Fiat 500 America style draws inspiration precisely from the USA, from its mirror covers sporting stars and stripes to the metallic shade of America Blue, interior details, dedicated waistline stickers and 16" alloy wheels. Available with 69 HP 1.2 8v Euro 5 engine, the 500 America Limited Edition has a fuel consumption of 5.1 l every 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions of 119 g/km. Completing its safety equipment are ABS and EBD as standard, as well as driver and passenger airbags plus side bags. The design of the "Number 1" car given to Mrs. Kieper is personalized by a badge bearing the serial number '1/500' and twitter nickname of the winner.

During the TwitBid - an unprecedented online promotion which lasted from March 1 to March 15 - 293 users from 11 different countries made more than 700 "twit-offers". The whole initiative registered 787 tweets with the official hashtag #500America and 140 retweets.
